Doors
About 90% of the time water will enter through door openings (entry, sliders, french and garage). If you do nothing else, seal your doorways.

(Allow at least 2 days for sealant to cure before exposed to water)
Inspect all doors for gaps between the door and the jam. Adjust/align as needed.
For doors, windows, and sliders that are not used, consider permanently sealing them.
Inspect all door threshold. If loose or damaged repair/replace. Remove grout/caulking and replace. Seal both 'inside and out' of threshold.
Doors that open out should be caulked along sides and at bottom using Peel 'n Seal or Rope Caulk.
For doors that open in, caulking will provide some protection. For more protection, a fixed barrier such as a bar or door brace should be used. A Night Lock door brace is a good option - https://nightlock.com
Don't forget about door hinges. These should be caulked and sealed to waterproof.
For sliding glass doors and/or patio doors, don't forget to seal the weep holes.
